Friday night: Early supper and did some housework getting ready for company on Saturday.
Saturday, some friends came over and we headed up to Asheville for a group brew day at Outsider Brewing.
Sunday, up to Clemson for a very late Christmas and birthday celebration with some friends and their kids.

Saturday attended funeral for former partner, but caught up with a long lost friend. Touching service for this former Marine.
Sunday we had friends over after postponed get together due to Covid, so that was nice.
Enjoyed the games, KC seems to peak at the right time.

Friday, hiked the pup right after work, came home and ate supper, poured a stiff drink and watched episodes of Northern Exposure. I still find it hard to believe this show is over 30 years old and it's just now making a reappearance on a streaming channel.
Saturday, death by a thousand minor chores. Mrs. and I left around 4:00 and went to Pineville. Stopped by Belk in the mall there to see if they had the shoes I was looking for, but struck out. Mrs. Tig commented that she hadn't set foot in a mall in maybe a decade, and I hadn't either so we walked the entire place just to see what was in there. Not much worth going to the mall for, that much is certain. Then, across the street to the Super G International Market to get supplies for Bahn Mi sandwiches. It's an amazing place filled with food items from all over the world, so we always end up spending a couple of hours just looking around. Found what we needed, including the big score of finding Frescolita Venezuelan cola. Great stuff if you ever see any. Back home late so just made a ham sandwich and watched 4 episodes of The Brothers Sun on Netflix. Fun watch, great soundtrack.
Sunday, more minor chores, completed everything on my weekend punch list except hanging the shelf I bought to go over the door in the studio. I'll get to that this week, I guess. A few hikes at the park with the pup, grocery run, a little football, made Mexican pork chops and roasted stuffed jalapenos using the Oaxaca cheese I got at Super G. Watched 3 episodes of the Brothers Sun, saved the last one for tonight.
Rain is the only real complaint, and I was walking around a mall rather than watching Clemson basketball so I'd say I made the right choice there...so 19/19 Covids.

Pretty nice, Friday went to brother’s house for beef ribs. Saturday lounged around the house & played with the kids, then date night w preggo. Had Thai food and saw Willy Wonka, it was really good. Yesterday went grocery shopping for the week, cleaned up outside after all the rain and bad weather, helped the kids clean up their disaster of a playroom, and had my parents over for roast supper.

Friday - pizza night. Only highlight was this obvious California couple that sat next to us. Cauliflower crust and vegan cheese for the female, side salad for the male. 8 year old kid was jumping on the booth. SMDH
Sat - rainy. Made a home Depot run. I'll never let my toddler pick out seeds again. You'd think we lived on 40 acres ha. Cooked some steaks.
We were supposed to go out with frands but my babysitters got the flu. Btwn us I'm relieved bc I hate going DT Nashville.
Sun - took girls to this princess deal so where in town. About 30 min in, 2 year old started having meltdowns so we promptly GTFO there.
Put girls down for naps after lunch, since home early. Sheet wrastled
Watched games. Cooked wings. Didn't win any bets/parlay cards.
Weather looking golfy this week. Gone try and hit a loop Friday maybe

Friday: left work early with a fever and a cough. Came home, rested and fell aslepp before nine, setting a trend.
Saturday: got up, sicker than before, I really can't recall what I did, but never left the bedroom.
Sunday: at this point I'm fed up with being in the house, left and just rode around to enjoy the rather spring-like weather. Ate finally and watched some NFL.
8/10 with deductions for the sickiness.

Friday night pizza, seems to be a new tradition.
Saturday two classes at OTF, hit up a new coffee shop then the weather hit the 70's, rain cleared out early, we took the dogs for a short hike near Fort Fisher then hit the beach for a couple hours. GLORIOUS. Cleaned the house when we got back, not so glorious. Rode skateboards around neighborhood.
Sunday slept in, another new coffee shop, daughter went to friend's house and Volleyball so we took the boys and the dogs to Greenfield Lake for a 4 mile walk. Grocery run, watched a little football, not too bad.
42 degrees this morning on the way to the gym, the nice weather was great while it lasted.

Friday - steak dinner. chilled at the house, played gams with the family
Sat - bball practice with the kid. I love that he loves playing basketball. Then watched the dookies being dookies. ate my frustration away with wings and cheese fries
Sun - went to an ex-coworker's funeral. (made a post about it below, but I'll repeat)
Nice. I had a little roadtrip with some old friends/coworkers over the mountain through some snow showers into TN for a ex-coworker's funeral. He passed away at the age of 56 after a 4+ year battle with ALS.
It sounds sad. And it was. But it was also awesome to see how many people came out to celebrate him. He was that dude.. the one who genuinely cared more about others than himself. And he took ALS on head first... Raised money by running with his run team. And when he couldn't run, they pushed him. It was awesome to hear so many wonderful stories about him and to know that they everyone had the same experience with him. Kindness. Caring. Full of love. Sarcastic sense of humor. He even left instructions to have everyone do the O-H-I-O cheer...knowing that many of us Clemson, VT, UT fans would grimace, but do it for him.
We streamed the AFC Championship in the car on the way home. I got back to the house to see my fellow West Charlotte HS alum Steve Wilks's team win the NFC Championship.
It was actually a good day...

Definitely are. If my own father was the President of tOSU and he invented dotting the i and came up with Brutus costume one day while doodling on a napkin while at lunch with Woody Hayes, I’m not sure i could do the O-H-I-O chant at his funeral.

was suppose to put in the window but the game ran late and didn't have time. Spent the night at in-laws. Sunday was nephew's birthday party. Then home to do a bunch of nothing. Baked some homemade bread and that was it.
