Good Lord all these Coots fans blasting Dabo

for even contemplating playing Watson against them with LCL sprain are either hypocrites or just complete scared. Just this past year, Conner Shaw had MCL AND LCL sprain and played the next week vs Mizzu

Never fear, every time those stupid shmucks open their mouth they are hippocites. I've never felt like this in my many years, I am usually a passive, stay quiet, no trash-talk fan but not this year! I want to vlean their clocks and leave them hurting after this one! I don't care how many penalties we get but be ### sure to make it hurt and make it count! I hate these aweful people...if they had trees anywhere near that trashy a$$wipe of a stadium, I'd probably go poision them like Bama fans did to auburns trees....I'm that fired up.

Nobody has the same beliefs as the coots. They are on another planet that has yet to be discovered.

When Connor Shaw hit the turf in Neyland Stadium last Saturday, it looked like the Volunteers might have ended yet another season via shredded knee ligaments.
But Gamecock fans got excellent news when they found out that Shaw had merely sprained his LCL and MCL. (I guess we ended up losing anyway, but is anyone else glad that play didn't get reviewed?) But even that diagnosis left most assuming that the senior signal-caller would miss at least two to three weeks. That is, until Steve Spurrier spoke at his Tuesday press conference:
"Connor Shaw we don't know about. He may be able to be able to dress and be a backup. We don't know. But Dylan is definitely going to start the game, and it'll be his his game to go with."
Quarterbacks coach G.A. Mangus was even more coy in his choice of words following Wednesday's practice:
"Hopefully he'll be able to do a little something if asked for Saturday... You never know. We'll see. He's getting better every day."

Watson is the future of our program. If he is truly healthy, I want him to play. If he is not, a serious injury to him could set our program way back.
If I were a Coot, I would want Watson to play hurt where the dirt ###### hit squad could target his knee and end his career. Thankfully, I am no Coot!

If it is a sprain there is little more damage that can be done. Swelling and pain will be the key things to manage. Once stretched it is unlikely that the ligament will tear. Now could he sustain other injuries possibly but other than irritation and swelling it is unlikely the diagnosis will get worse playing on it. With a month in between this game and bowl season I see no reason not to play with a brace.

I think its because most are just to dumb to remember they had a similar situation, they are so quick to find something to bash Clemson about they don't take the time to think that they did the same thing last year. And 2 weeks isn't all that bad, plenty of athletes have tried coming back after a week from a LCL sprain, so 2 weeks is sufficient.
