Hate how he ended it with us but poured his heart into our school for years. Great day today for him and thats a good thing.

Couldn’t agree more. I hate to say it but DJ was just a miss in recruiting. Didn’t really fit what we need. Funny I watched a little of their game yesterday and he short armed 2 wide receiver screens. Can throw it 70 yards and still can’t hit that little 15 yard throw to the field. Happy he found a place where he can fit in.

He alsoover threw several passes. I didn’t watch the whole game but isaw 4 poorly thrown balls. Also saw some good balls too. I also saw some wobblers that were completed.

Class of ‘71. Went through “rat season” and glad I did.

He locked in on receivers and threw screens into the dirt.

He held the ball too long but was playing against San Jose State.

He was never pressured due to lower level of competition.

He had good games at Clemson, too.

He played well against Wake and NC State. We really did have a lot of drops by receivers so not all the failures last year were his fault.

but if our goal is to compete for a national championship it's pretty obvious he wasn't the guy.

given that Southern Cal and Heisman winner Caleb Williams played the same team just last week. And that DJU's stats were eerily similar to Williams', as well.

Exhibit 1 for when a lard-mouth bites off more than he can chew.
