6-6 Amare James from Marietta, GA who made an official visit last weekend is announcing at 7pm on social media.

He is not highly recruited but really made high strides the last couple of months on the fall AAU circuit.

Understand good mid major programs like CofC and others were trying to get involved but once Clemson offered him right before his visit, he backed off any other potential interest.

I watched video on him and he can really shoot and plays good defense. Plays for a great program and the best competition in GA at Wheeler.

Think the staff is trying to build up the 15 man roster they can now have on scholarship. Sort of like Blake Davidson, Nick Davidson's younger brother. He should be a good player at least in a couple of years. Link:
