Hello friends, it has been about 4 months since I have been able to participate and log in. Just an update: I lost my eye site in my right eye, and I have about 50% of vision left in my left eye. I had multiple seizures over the past several months and my physician found 2 lesions on my brain which caused me to have seizures as well as other medical issues. I haven't been able to do much these past few months, but I am hanging in there and I am still among the living.
Truly I have no complaints. I have lived an awesome life. I have enjoyed so much and have had the opportunity to marry the love of my life a few years ago. Truly, I have been a blessed man throughout my life.
Although my vision is not great, I can see and type on my computer if I concentrate and really stay focused. I will try to log in as much as I can in the future.
Anyway, I love this site, I love all of you t-netters and I hope you all stay safe.

But in all seriousness that’s terrible what you’ve been through but I admire the way you have and the attitude you are left with after all of that reflects on who you are as a person. I pray there will be some improvement for you but if not I hope you will continue to have the attitude that you do now. That is impressive.

That is a terrible report but God never gives us more than we can handle. Why? Because He is there to help us deal with it. The best partner we could ever hope to have in time of need. Just call on Him daily and keep the faith. I will ask him to heal you and be with you.

Thank you all. For the past several months I have been having surgeries, 3 to be exact, to try and fix my eyes which has not allowed me to be online much. My wife was logging in on occasion and reading some of the articles for me. I am now limited to eye site in just my left eye but with my glasses and magnifying my screen I can read for short periods of time. To much reading or looking at the screen and I develop severe headaches. I enjoy the banter on the site, reading the articles and reading the posts. I enjoy the humor and the discussions and the general talk.
It is really a blessing to be able to call T-net my home. There are so many people that have it much worse than me. So many people struggle and don't have a support system. I am just glad that my doctors and family have helped me. Losing my eye site in my right eye was scary, I knew it was coming but you can only prepare yourself so much. Finding two small lesions on my brain was a shock but with a great medical team they are blessing me. I am doing everything I can to keep my limited eye site in my left eye. My neurologist has been great, and he has helped me deal with my seizures.
I am just very thankful to be able to continue to enjoy the small things in life. I enjoy Clemson athletics and will try and take part in Clemson Football as much as I can. My wife and I are going to go to the Duke game Lord willing and as long as my doctor approves.

It’s seems the darkest right before the sun comes up! Praying you recover better than ever, I was to the point with my back, mobility and pain I let all kinds of stinking thinking in when seeing my future. I let the enemy tell me I’d always be like that using a hover around.
It took some time but the Good Lord healed my back to the point where I don’t need a hover round, Cane or any assistance, my kidneys, blood pressure, crazy pain and lack of endurance are gone. God is able to restore you and stop the seizures. Hang in there and celebrate everyday expecting a better day.
I will continue praying for you along with the rest of Tigernet believing for a miracle.

Oh so happy to get your update. I remember all you were sharing about you eyes and looking at your options. I believe it was a retina problem and you were going to have to have those shots. I had a little retina scare myself but so far mine seems to be ok.
Most of us have received a world full of blessings. I know I have had more than my share. At my age I'm just happy to see another day. Hoping you have many more.
