Last night I had a meeting….doesnt matter what it was regarding. 7 guys. I know 4 of them are Muslim as I have known them for years. I get there and there are two separate tables separated by like 4 inches of space. I think nothing of it.
I sit down and M1 says, “are you going to be drinking alcohol tonight?” I am like, yeah.
So then M1 says, “you have to sit at that other table. I can’t sit with you. I can’t share a table with alcohol”. I look at him and I am like, is this some Jim Crow type of bullshittt cause it feels that way.
M1 says “it’s my religion”. And I am like good for you but I think you excluding me is ###### up. And I went and sat at other table.
M2 then says, “why are you disrespecting us”. I then explain to them that they are at a BAR and that their feet are on the floor of a BAR and that people who have sat in their seats have been hammers.
What if I said, “this is a Christian only area, you need to move”. That would over like a fart in church.
I am really getting tired of me having to be “tolerant” while the rest of these factions get to assert their religion onto me.

You could have a Jamison at a table with me and like 90% of Americans out socially, avoid discussing politics when drinking.
Baker Mayfield has turned into both a decent guy and a #### good QB since going to the Bucs. As a former gambler, I like the Lions to put together an end of season run.

What i noticed in your story is not what they imposed on you, but that they did it now, after years of knowing you. That they would do such a thing is worth understanding, but maybe more important is, "Why now?" What changed from 5 years ago to last night? They didnt develop those values recently.
I think there is a lot to see there about mankind's nature. The practice of Christianity as a religion, when Christians lower ourselves to that, can do things similar to what happened to you. It is also true that the atheist living in America, having both a legal and moral guarantee to live that belief, has the Redeemer to thank for the existence of a culture that allows him to. We would not be America as we know it if not for the values of Locke, Adams and Jefferson, men who viewed truth and mankind from the perspective of a universal need for and existence of a Redeemer.
There are forces that want to undo that. Why would your long term friends now disallow you to be you in their presence?

Look, it all has to do with percentages of population. Once they arrive and are a low population percentage they remain low key. As they approach 40%-50% the true self comes out. It is known elsewhere in the world, here we stick our heads in the sand.
