My dad tells me he can't stand Cam every time we speak.
He doesn't like the way Cam "showboats" after a successful play. He has no idea what kind of person Cam is. Do a little research. You might be surprised to find he's a good guy. Not to mention a fantastic athlete...showboating and all!

The dude does more for less fortunate kids than probably anyone in the league. Not to mention after every TD he scores he gives a ball to a kid in the crowd. Has he had some trouble in his past? Yea, who hasn't. But it's not about the mistakes you make in life, its how you learn from them. There isn't another guy in the league, I'd want DW to look up to other than Cam.

After his ankle injury, Brantley passed Newton on the depth chart. Pretty sure one of the major factors of his decision to leave UF was the fact of knowing he would not start as qb...always behind Tebow or Brantley.
A quick look at Meyer's record would let you know that an arrest was not/if ever grounds for dismissal from the team. Just ask Hernandez.

I agree with most of your post. For the most part, kids are a product of their environment. There are allot of people that will justify his actions. It takes time for your perspective of the world to change, and having the right influences. I don't care for him much, but he also can warn young men about the temptations and pitfalls of being a star player

You may very well be correct but it's easy to be "a great citizen" when you no longer have to scam and steal. He's rich, he no longer needs to resort to that type of behavior. It wouldn't surprise me if we see the old Scam one day in the future once a theif, always a theif. But hey, whatever makes you sleep better at night.
