I hope this piece goes a long way towards making others realize the same thing... unfortunately, it won't and jackwagons like carvel-ice-cream from the AJC will keep stirring the pot.
I hope carvel gets eye herpes.

His commitment to his commitment to Clemson should not be a shocker to anyone who has been to Clemson. Urban Meyer said it best when he said he couldn't understand how any good football player from the state of Florida could possibly choose Clemson over UF, but after he visited Clemson and attended one of our games, he said he gets it. He said there is something very special about Clemson, and he is right.

sounds like a young man who's thought through the issues, knows what he wants, and has made up his mind. I know his mother, who undoubtedly feels badly because she was left out of the process of a decision her son--soon to be a man making ALL his own decisions--made on his own, kind of regrets being on another continent and felt compelled to say she felt he was being pressured to go to Clemson. Well, guess what Mom?? He was being pressured by Clemson and 50 other schools. Clemson, I understand, was one of (if not the) first schools to offer young Robert and has earned his trust and respect over a period of time. He's decided this is where he wants to matriculate and play football.
All this, coupled with the commitments and enrollment of some high school teammates, I think RN will be playing in Death Valley next season.

I don't believe for a moment that there is any general nationwide media conspiracy to derail Clemson's relationship with Robert Nkemdiche.
But, I believe 100% that certain local writers who cater to a Georgia audience would love to be instrumental in causing a flip in Nkemdiche's recruiting, driving him toward Athens.

If I'm not mistaken, it was Dabo would told Nkemdiche NOT to commit to Clemson until he had reviewed all his available options...
