But wanted to throw a dose of reality out there...

Steele had VT's number too. Nothing to get too excited about yet.

I will say our guys looked to be much more aggressive and tackled much better than any game to date. I hope this is the beginning of what we can expect and not the exception when we look back on the 2012 season.

imo, we didn't really stop their offense usually

unless they turned it over. For those who want to take my statement literally, yes I know we did actually make them punt and the 4 and 1 was great. But overall, VT offense stopped themselves by turnovers. Plus they still got 400 yds. turnovers are great for this one game but most games we won't get that many turnovers.

I know the D is getting praise but I really only saw just a slight tick in movement towards getting better. I'm wanting to see this great improvement but I'm just not seeing it. I guess I'm blind.

I agree...I honestly felt most of the game like they were...

playing awful. The two interceptions by Meeks were due to just bad throws to open recievers, not Meeks having great coverage. Honestly, the D looked bad overall.
