Glad for him, but that run was a synopsis of his Clemson career. If he just had

one more gear, ala ETN or Saquon, that is a runaway touchdown, instead of being caught from behind and having to cover up the football. That being said, he is the absolute PERFECT personality for the Eagles. Blue collar type guy who works his butt off.

Can he and his fellow Birdies overcome The Taylor Swift Effect? My Majik Eight Ball says not.

:(

It’s a game, and the Chiefs can be beaten. They usually win by one score. One of these days they will slip-up. The Eagles are a team that could force them to slip-up.

Every sports team will always have some fans that hate them, the chiefs probably appreciate you being a FB fan!!!

I'm going to say it the way that I honestly feel about Shipley's first NFL TD. During that entire interview and he went back 15 years of his career and not once did he mention Clemson or his Clemson team mates that he played with, worked out with at Clemson, not even a mention of his Clemson coaches. So as far as I personally feel about Shipley and his NFL career, it wouldn't matter to if he never scores another TD in the NFL or how long of a career he has in the NFL.

IMHO with his first TD in the NFL and with him talking about what a special moment that was in his career and talking about it being a dream of his over the past 15 years and he don't have a word to say about his college or the people that helped him at one of the most important times of becoming an NFL player with not a mention of his team mates, his coaches at Clemson, well then I don't have any wishes or hopes for him in the NFL.

In my own opinion, people should never forget in their special moments like with Shipley, the people that helped him to get where he's at now when they have the opportunity to recognize and thank them for the huge part they had in his journey to get where he's at in the NFL...

Me personally, I've never forgotten the folks that helped and pushed me into going to Universal Tech out in Phoenix Arizona. If they hadn't cared enough about me to do what they could to make sure that I didn't end my education with just a high school diploma, I would've never had the professional training or the occupational associate's degree that I earn at UTI, (Universal Technical Institute) it wasn't an academic school like a Clemson or other academic universities, but it did help me to have a much better life than I would've had with just a HS diploma bc everyplace that I went to work for, especially the dealerships, the first thing they wanted to know was where did I get my training, and if I earned a diploma or a degree, and I was proud to say that I had enrolled in the UTI 2 year occupational associate's degree program and finished in the top 5 of my class.

The people that actually pushed, talked me into at least going to a Tech school, I can still hear their voices 50 years later telling me that I would regret not getting that paper even with it being from a Tech school. That paper helped me to land some good paying jobs as an Auto/Diesel Mechanic...

So, the moral of my story is, you should never forget the people who helped you to better your position in life!!! IMO, Shipley forgot!!!

The interviewer had mentioned Clemson at the start, and he was staying on topic with her questions. I thought he expressed himself well and handled the spotlight with class. After all, a Clemson man needs no introduction.
