Which game do we want to lose so we can win it all?
This is with the assumption that we can lose 1 and still get in the playoff. Obviously we want to win them all but if somebody told you Clemson will lose a game and win the national title again this year, which game would you pick?
I think Pitt was the perfect game last year.

I agree with you on NCSU but I'm not sold that FSU won't lose another ACC game.

I'd rather be the first team, in modern FB history, to go start to finish with a perfect record. I believe we can do it this year.

we don't finish the reg season undefeated, given the goofs left on the schedule. FSU isn't FSU this year. Wolfies lost to scar, nuf said.

For what ever the reason, NC teams that has a better than usuc team will allow them to get away with a win. It must be bc they are intimidated by the SEC, and they can't get out of their own way when they play usuc. When they lose to usuc, usuc will then go on a losing streak to lesser teams than UNC or NCST. UNC and NCST will lose to usuc, and play us tough through the entire game, and we have to win the game late in the 4th quarter against them, I can't figure that out.

Well,if somebody told me "Clemson will lose a game and win the national title again this year", then it would seem it doesn't matter which one, because stated that way, the national title is already a given. 
Regardless, if given a choice, I suppose a loss earlier in the season to a ranked opponent would soften the blow. I don't recall the rankings of teams when we played them, so either a loss to Louisville on the road, or a loss to VT on the road. That would still give us wins over at least two ranked opponents.
