If it's against SEC and/or extra innings, might as well chalk it up as a loss for this group this season.

Had chances but didn't take advantage. Cagle not being available hurting tonight too. F'n sucks

They are 1-3 in extra inning games against sec teams.1-4 overall ( Minnesota was other extra inning loss ) They also lost to Missouri I believe.

But this will officially put our girls below .500 against SEC for year. Needed a sweep of the hens to at least break even on year

From what the girls show on TV, there's no leadership on this team anywhere. Cagle being out hurts yes, but it's next woman up, injuries happen. There's no reason for girls to swinging at first or 2nd pitch their 5th time through the lineup. No plate adjustments whatsoever either. We're lucky if we make it past regionals, if we make the tournament at all, this year.

In previous years, if the hits weren’t coming there would be bunt attempts, slap hits and even suicide squeezes. Rittman kept the defenses on their toes. I’m not seeing that in 2024. And extra innings have been a nightmare this season. GO TIGERS!
