just imagine where he would have been had he not got hurt for those 3 yrs. playing lf he would have been close to 3000 and probably 500 homeruns.
Def. a first ballot hall of famer either way.
Good job Chipper

None. Anyone watching knows that Chipper has aged
Apr 8, 2011, 10:37 PM
|

the way people are actually supposed to age. His homeruns have decreased yearly, his head is the same size, and he misses games due to injuries. He's just an old(er) man playing the game the way he's always played it.
He's clean. Guaranteed.

There's never been anything to suggest Chipper doped. Just because we've seen so many MLB players do it doesn't mean it's cool to even joke about one of the sport's greatest players who plays it the right way.

Um, that's a fact. Ask any doctor what steriod abuse can do
Apr 9, 2011, 7:04 PM

to you. Just b/c you don't believe it doesn't mean it isn't true. Steroids increase muscle mass and muscle strength, but they leave the joints and ligaments out of the equation. Steroid abusers can expect to eventually put too much strain on ligaments that cannot properly anchor the new muscle strength, leading to possibly severe injury and future surgery to correct torn shoulder joints or knee ligaments. The muscles are exerted, and the joints simply can’t handle it

I'm looking at hit list and see several current players ahead of him some who are better fielders on top of it like omar vizquuel and puge.
Plus u have pitchers to contend with and past players waiting to get in.

Cheating on your wife is sooooo far and away irrelevant to playing the game. If he was one peds he wouldn't have been hurt so much...HGH. Also, Bobby should have never put him in left. Never ever!

I'd vote Manny in....he was the best in the HGH/roid era. I

would also vote Bonds and any players who put up good to great numbers over their career. I think the entire era will be known as the steroid, PED era, but the best of the best on the field still be in the HOF.

Chipper is also one of the best switch hitters of all time. i would be suprised if he was not a 1st ballot hall of famer. I also love how his entire career has been with the Braves. Good job Chip!
