Getting around at games for older Tigers...

Had worried about how my dad would get to seats from car, and back this season due to walking problems. Last year it got increasingly difficult for him to make the walk, this year we knew it would not be possible for him. Others had posted on here about golf cart escorts that are available, but to me that wasn't a good solution because you're at their mercy, and there aren't that many. It would be best to be able to go when you're ready, not when the escort is ready. Solution? I got him a mobility scooter, dressed it up in orange and tiger paws, and "Pop's Tailgate-mobile" was born! He loved it, and actually rode around the lots before the game. He hadn't left our spot in probably 5 years, but yesterday, even in the heat he took several "walks".

He was allowed to ride it un stadium, right up to the portal, then I just had to go park it for him! He would not have been able to make it, literally, without it.

Seeing how much he enjoyed it, and how beneficial it was, I'm going to start providing these to others. I've worked a deal with the distributor for wholesale pricing, and I can "Clemson it" myself. I'm not going to advertise a price here, since this isn't the proper forum. But if you thunk something like this would help you or one if your lived ones, Tmail me and we can talk. They could have one before the next game.

His has weight capacity of 325lbs, swivel seat (so he could still sit in it at tailgate) battery life of 7 miles, variable speed, cup holder, side pouch (to hold tickets, money, etc), removable front basket (not pictured) and breaks down for easy transport.

That is fabulous!

I could have used that yesterday! After ankle surgery two weeks ago, I had a hard time getting around, thus I received piggy back rides to and from the gate..

I hope your Dad enjoys many, many "walks"

GO TIGERS!

Scooters or mobility enhancers can make a big difference in the life of those who benefit from them.
Bravo to you and bravo for your dad.
