One thing we all need to get used to is this; when you have an elite team, you're going to have players leave early each year for the NFL.
This is a new situation for Clemson, but I imagine with the talent we have coming in each year and the staff we have to coach them up, we will continue to have great players and great seasons. Embrace the issue and expect at least 5 or 6 players to leave early each year, just make sure we keep the pipeline full of good players to fill in the void.
The downside to recruiting 4 and 5 star athletes is most of them have been enabled to be self-centered and a part of that "me, me, look at me!!" mindset. They are treated differently and expect the world to praise them. They play by a different set of rules (i.e.:Shameis) I suspect Deon Cain my fall into that category like Mike Belemy, but Dabo don't play that game. So, it's a hit and miss proposition we got lucky with Deshaun, he is a rare find.
