TV Tailgate Setup: What Do You Do?

Going to try my luck this year at setting up a TV to watch football at the tailgate. Wanted to know what others are doing?

I have looked at options like Predator generators, Jackery power banks with solar panels, firestick in the TV to mirror the phone, streaming from hot spot on phone, tailgate Pro Dish antenna.

Is there any Wi-Fi to hook into from campus parking lots?

Thanks in advance and GO TIGERS!!!

YouTube Tv subscription then download the app on the phone , Hook the phone to the TV. You will need a USCB to HDMI adapter from Target or Best Buy etc .

Craftsman 2500W Generator powers the tailgate including TV. I changed from Dish Sat to streaming YouTube TV through a SIMO Solis Hotspot. Much better than a phone. It isn't tied to particular carrier. A lot easier to use. Hint...buy the data by the GB instead of a monthly plan, it won't be throttled.

Bottom line, do what works best for you!

horrible signal coverage. What kind of signal do you get at Clemson tailgate and have you tried anymore remote spots where cell coverage is spotty?

I tried to use my phone as a hotspot to stream YouTube TV last year. It worked great until people started showing up. It became unwatchable about 2 hours before kickoff due to bandwidth.

Firestick
YT TV subscription
and......Starlink. It's your only real hope for being able to stream anything near the stadium

Generators work really well

Especially if you're going to run anything in addition to the TV. Just make sure you get a quiet inverter generator, otherwise your neighbors are not going to like you. If just a TV, you could likely get by with a power bank or deep cycle battery and inverter.

I always bring a firestick and use my phone's hotspot, generally no problems, but likely depends on your network, data plan, and where you tailgate.
I have T-mobile and it's been pretty good, my friend has AT&T and it's not as good.

I have to second the generator and starlink setup. It worked really well last year.
