Be sure to put a barricade around it so the recycle truck doesn't accidentally haul it off.

This might be one Clemson item we would not care if "rival" fans tried to destroy.
The group selecting campus art does not share my opinion of good art. The new "art" instillation near the core campus is fugly too.

I'm an architect and still practicing. I'm a graduate of the Clemson College of Architecture. I received the finest education available in the USA. At the time and ever since, I've had a particular focus on Art and Architectural History. As it goes, this is not a bad piece, but it's not what should be "there" where it is. I understand that very little art appeals to the masses (take Henry Moore's sculpture, or Picasso...), but we can actually afford better than this.
When I first moved to Spartanburg after graduating - I got a job with a local firm making $4.00 an hour and thought I was rich! - there was a "competition" to name the new downtown "mall" that closed off Main Street to vehicular traffic to invite pedestrians to walk around and shop the stores (an epic failure, btw)... the winning submission for a $1,000 award? - "Main Street Mall". Wow.
I put this football thing in the same unfortunate category as "Main Street Mall".
Go Tigers!!!

for 2 years & then went Ind.Eng. but the crapola that they put behind Lee Hall is horrendous as well IMO...I guess it's "art" if the guy creating it can make up all of those crazy lyrics to describe it.

It's not the ugliness to me . It's the placement , it's just in the middle of a grass field that doesn't make sense. Not all that ugly but it's location kills it.

Maybe garden with Tiger topiary or tiger paw shaped flowers or something. Just weird sitting out in field. Maybe even some orange glass rocks. Something
