Game Changer

Winning at the next level requires a game changer on defense, like a Clowney or Teo, and we just don't have one, and likely won't get one soon

May be true. But tends to pick up those playing with them. Feel sure Thompson wouldn't have had 10 sec to find a receiver or then run up middle for 20 yds

actually coach and make necessary adjustments. We were beaten badly by a team with a back-up quarterback and 3RD string running back. That was very, very sad. 4 straight losses to them and none were really that close. We are not getting better. The ACC is getting worse.
