Players we will lose due to eligibility: Blake Wright, Jimmy Obertop, Jacob Hinderleider, Alden Mathes, NEXT SEASON LF: Potentially Will Taylor/Jack Crighton* - I think Will would benefit stock wise with a full year with good numbers if he came back. CF: Cam Cannarella RF: Tristan Bisseta 3B: Nolan Nawrocki SS: Andrew Ciufo - I think people don’t realize that he should have one more year of eligibility and should be the starter at short if he comes back. 2B: Jarren Purify 1B: Crighton/Blauser- I can see them using Crighton at first a lot still if someone stepped up in the outfield next year. C: Jacob Jerrel
*Let me know if I left something out or got something wrong*
*I know it’s way to early to talk about next season but I like talking possibilities*

This a good assessment. Another thing to take into account is the possibilities of transfers. That’ll be mostly used for transfers.

Yea I feel like we might only bring in a couple position player transfers and maybe a lot of pitchers in the portal

Looks good on paper, I would just point out the 4 guys leaving represent 63 % of our HRs this season. With that said I think we have to go to the portal for at least 2 home run threats. Just my opinion.

Portal will help, but I also think Bisseta rakes next year. He barrels more outs than anyone I've ever seen at Clemson. He can easily start to elevate the ball and those numbers will skyrocket.

I trust Bakich to make the right moves to place us in a competitive situation next season. Afterall, the first half of the season carried us through the end to a national seed. Whether we improved over the course of the season does not matter. We earned our spot!
Congrats team! Go Tigers!
