Funny but true story... My son's mother-in-law is trying ...

to learn how to use facebook and has no idea how a computer works. She calls my daughter-in-law every day to fix some new problem she's having. Well, this afternoon my son and daughter-in-law were at our house and sure enough her mom calls with another facebook problem. It seems a church friend of hers had posted on facebook that she was sick, her kids were all sick, and that her husband had just come down with the flu and she was requesting prayers from all friends for herself and her family. Well, somehow my son's mother-in-law had sent a reply back to the sick family of a gif with a person jumping up and down and laughing at them. She had no idea how she had sent it or how to get it off facebook and she was in full panic mode. Hope you enjoyed this story as much as we did! LMAO If any of you guys have similar stories I would enjoy hearing them too.

How long did it take you to find the 3.5" floppy you had saved it on just to post at the right time?

My ex joined a website called Classmates and posted there often. Being freshly separated I stalked her in web.
The monitor on CM asked who had become famous or knew someone famous in order to start some dialogues. Ex said she was sitting on the front row at an Elvis concert and he looked at her. She said she could tell by the look on his face that they could have 'hookedup,' had his wife not been on the tour with him.
I paid for a month's membership just to put this beneath her post.
'I sniffed Karen Carperter's panties once. Well, I'm sure they were her's because my friends said they were.'
They gave me my money back that evening. Crump may do the same if he reads this.

‘88, you and I should never hang out together. You ain’t right... just like me... we would probably get into a LOT of trouble!
My first clue was “... we were separated, so I web stalked her...” HAH!!

I taught my mother-in-law how to use a computer too. She ultimately got taken for all her and my father in law's life savings by one of those money wire inheritance scams.
They're homeless now, and usually spend the days selling old rags and jewelry made from teeth at busy intersections, occasionally teaming up to roll a weaker member of their homeless camp for cigarettes and tic tacs.
This technology stuff is hilarious!

My 85+ year old mother in law......

"does" Facebook as best she can to try to follow all the grandkids activities. One day my 30 yo daughter called my wife hysterical and said to look what "Mamaw" had posted in Facebook. She had posted a picture of a particularly"beautiful flower" she liked, which turned out to be a large image of a marijuana blossom! The kids and grandkids are still laughing at that one.

Humor , even when misplaced or misunderstood. makes life better . I'm sure her thoughtful explanation would suffice for the ill family she sent the gif to .
