FSU/Bama did the committee get it right?

Answer one very simple question honestly;
If Clemson could play either FSU or Bama next weekend, which would you rather play, simply from the standpoint of which team you think we would have a better chance of beating?

I don’t like or necessarily agree with what the committee did, but I do think they picked the best 4 teams as of right now.

And all this from TigerNet fans who want to be part of ESPN/SEC or Fox Sports/B1G. The response is twisted and dishonest from so many Tnetters who want nothing to do with the ACC.

Auburn and Bama is a rival game and if you have ever watched that series crazy things happen in those games.

Your whole argument is wrong. It should never be about who can beat who and who’s playing the best at the end of the year. The whole season matters.

FSU deserved their shot. Hack Mich could throw three picks abd FSU wins 23-24 who’s freaking knows. But if you went off of who would win agains who at the end then the it would be a mess. It would probably be

Bama
GA
Michigan
Washington/Texas

But that’s not how it goes. The regular season matters.

The fact is FSU earned a spot in the CFP’s it does not matter who you want to play. You play the team who earned there way into the playoffs.

Ask yourself this question??? If it was not Bama coached by Saban would bama have gotten in the CFP.
My opinion is no they would not. Texas earned their way in, FSU earned their way in Bama was gifted in. They did not earn their way in.

ESPN for ratings and pure Greed to pair Bama against Texas or Michigan in the finals. It’s all about the the $$$$$$$$$$$$$. Just pure greed regardless of who ESPN had to step on,

Would those who think the committee got it right feel that way if it was Clemson on the outside looking in ???

The defense has been playing so well late in the year neither FSU nor Bama would score much against us. Milroe would make a few crazy run around plays but he'd be running around in the backfield a lot.

If we stuck to the zone read running game I think we'd get enough points on Bama, more than Auburn got anyway.

I really want to see Mich tear up Bama's run defense.

Good question. I would really have a hard time separating them. Maybe would rather play Washington just because I think we match up better with them because our defense is good enough to really slow down their offense and I don’t think their defense is as good as Bama’s or Georgia’s so that would give our offense a little better chance. Just like we saw last night, I don’t think there is much separation between Bama and GA. I think Bama’s defense may be a little better than GA’s but I think GA’s offense is better than Bama’s IF Bowers and McClonkey are both healthy. So I guess I would want to play Washington first then GA and last Bama because GA and Bama are so similar and I’d give Bama the edge on coaching.
