people who would not pull for FSU

Come on people, we need to wake up!!! Any of us die hard tiger fans have to take this with a grain of salt but it is what it is! It hurts to pull for FreeShoesU but its a necessity now that we screwed the pooch. This coming from a guy who still has a piece of the goal post from 2003 FSU game when Tommy first beat his diddy!!!! It comes down to a battle of the brands, haha, get it right there, but any way it really is brand recognition! We tiger fans want acc wins to mean what they used to back in the day! and unfortunately since we ffffed up we have to take a back seat this year to shameous jameous and his criminoles. But this is also so important in the first year of football playoff to have an ACC team in the mix. And then next year we can make it three straight National Champions from the ACC. Eat that ESPN!!!!

type of fan you are. Look at all the dumbarses that have been here b!tching and stirring the pot for years, can they consider themselves "die hard tiger fans"? There's way more die hard tiger fans outside of tnet than there are members here. If his pulse was really low and it was only b!tching then that's one thing but he seems like as much of a fan as anybody. I'm going to be honest this who's the better fan stuffs annoying just support the team to the fullest of your capabilities, attend games you can attend and stay however long you're able to stay at the game. I'm not talking about you by the way, nearly everyday I see someone whining about people who leave before the end and how they're lesser fans and all this other garbage that I guess people use to assure themselves that they're somehow better than someone at being a fan as far as I'm concerned there's real/die hard fans, fair weather fans, and bandwagon fans with no in between whatever category you're in you're just the same as anyone else in that category.

Haha wowwww!!! That is quite funny!!! I didn't know that being a "member" of an actual fan message board was a prerequisite for "true fandom"!!!! I guess going to games every single season for over a decade doesn't count, nor growing up in the upstate while pulling for the local team since being able to walk, nor graduating from said prestigious institution, nor having your baby nephew spelling his first words at three years old being C-L-E-M-S-O-N T-I-G-E-R-S! , nor supporting said Team through significant financial contribution for over a decade( I think there is a saying for that! Oh yeah!! IPTAY), nor experiencing The highest of highs 2003( FSU, USC, Tenn) to 2012(LSU) to 2013(OHIO ST) or the lowest of lows( Alabama, WVU, USC-2012) with other faithful Tiger brethren!!!! The point is I bleed orange!!!! And I must have enough friends, colleagues, and acquaintances to get get my fill of football talk in to suffice my needs without having to sit in front of a computer! But it is moments like this and posts like yours that I feel that I have to put my two cents in! So yeah! I guess one can only sit on the sidelines for so long( over five years in my case just reading tnet to inform and entertain myself) before they feel obligated to correct or inform others who seem to be so misguided as yourself sir!

No this is a terrible idea.
This is the Playoff era. Go 13-0 and we will make the Playoffs. Go 12-1 and we will almost always make the Playoffs.
No need to worry about conference reputation at all. Just beat our opponents. And FSU being a bad program would help that.
Also F the Seminoles. I'm a Clemson fan therefore I hate them and root for them to lose every game unless they play the #####.

Do you realize fsu is not really even a rival in the true sense of the word? Were 6 hours away from them and see them one day out of the year, not to mention we don't have any type of interaction with free shoes fans except the day of and days leading up to the game. Georgia is more of a rival even though we don't play them every year but as far as I'm concerned USuCk is our 1 hated rival and while I dislike florida state and dumbo fisher i don't really care what games they win or lose unless it's against us or could help us. Maybe I don't understand where you're coming from because I live in clemson and only see fswho people once a year, do you live near Tallanastee by any chance or around florida? If so I can understand your hatred towards them.

Do you also live in 1930? You are on a message board communicating with people all over the world. Most people cant go to any games at all we watch on a new invention called TV. Sometimes I watch on my phone especially if were senteced to ESecPNU.
Also if I want to I can drive in a car to any part of the country.
You really were just trying to be some kind of snob or smart aleck. 2014 its a small world.

Yes we recruit against them . We also recruit against most of the SEC schools. We don't need the SEC winning everything, and if you cant see that we need FSU to win and represent the ACC...

If it wasn't for Jameis Winston, I could pull for FSU in the championship game. I personally believe he is a rapist, I personally believe he doesn't have any respect for women. My mother, my 3 sisters, my 2 daughters, my 2 grand daughters, and my wife, are all women, and they are my most loved people on this planet. Jameis don't know any of them, and he wouldn't respect them if he did. I have never met Jameis, and he is the most disliked person I know of on this planet. I will never pull for anything or any team sport that Jameis Winston is a part of, not now, not ever. I don't approve of him, his character, or his action in any form.

I think they get in. But their smoke and mirrors season will be exposed to the fullest with 3 other power houses to contend with. And that won't make the ACC look good.
FSU is just too evil and lucky for me not to hate. Sorry. I'm not pulling for them.

Would you rather have an SEC team winning it again? Could you imagine if the SEC won it last year and what is the message from ESPN? FSU and the rapist slowed down the propaganda machine.
The entire nation (other than the SEC) were thrilled to have a non SEC team winking it all.
I am not in particular pulling for FSU but I am pulling for a non SEC team winning it all. So having FSU in will just reduce the SEC chance to get more teams in the final four. We probably could have 4 teams all of the SEC and thanks to the hype machine. Heck, they are trying to move FSU out of the four but they cannot.
They dropped FSU from number 1 due to an unimpressive win over ND but how about Miss state win against Arkansas and to unranked team?

I'm personally not going to be a conference pumper. I'm also NEVER EVER going to pull for the crimi-noles. Plus, I don't think it matters how loud you are in your living room pulling for them. For your sake, I hope you don't live next door to an old school Tiger fan. Maybe we all need to pull for the Tigers just a little bit harder & we wouldn't be having this conversation.

about anything and everything about rooting for a conference team. Why let coots determine what you think and how you feel? I pull for all the ACC football teams except the tarheels and all the basketball teams except the tarheels and dukies. Has nothing to do with the conference but just arrogance. If the conference does good then it helps Clemson financially. I want the ACC to be the best conference in everything. I want the ACC to be the conference that is excelling in all areas. Does nothing but help the prestige of Clemson when we are at or close to the top. I realize that it would be hard for you to laugh at the coots for chanting SEC and then pull for the ACC but I have NEVER let the coots determine what I think or how I felt. I realize that Winston is a bad example of a Nole but he is not FSU and one person does not determine the reputation of a university.
