FSU Coaches partly to blame...

I do believe that FSU got screwed in not making the playoffs.

However, why did it take until the last two games for the back-up QBs to get any playing time? Were the FSU coaches trying to build up Travis' numbers during the season? Instead of getting back-ups ready for the future? Chase Brice came in vs Syracuse in a PRESSURE situation and performed! But, I don't think us Tigers expected anything less.....cause we've seen him play before!

If Rodemaker(?) came in vs the Gators and played great....and the 3rd string played better vs the Cardinals, maybe that would have made a difference.

Still, Bama shouldn't be in there....they had their chance vs Texas during the season (at home) and lost.

Go Tigers!!!

If FSU looked great and got in, it just would have been Texas getting screwed.
They would’ve just dropped Georgia to #4, Texas #5, Bama #6.

An SEC team was going to be forced in, no matter what.

And look who they were playing when he got hurt?

That makes it sting even worse.

True but it was senior day. He wanted to play.

Reasonable question.

Rodemaker did play a reasonable amount this year. Early in the year FSU was not involved in 4 score games, so his PT was limited. But, he did play the way normal 2nd team QBs played - when the game was well in hand in the 4th quarter.

Brock Glenn didn't play as much for two reasons.
1. He was going to redshirt so he was limited to 4 games anyway.
2. He was injured in the 4th or 5th week of the season, in practice, and did not practice for 4 or 5 weeks, limiting his ability to get reps and run the offense.

And after seeing Texas results, FSU should have known they needed to put up points. They played to win the ACCC and not to play for a CFP spot. QB might not been up to it but to make the CFP, they needed to look impressive. They play conservative against Georgia and it will be ugly.
