FSU coach said they had 5 drops yesterday

I lost count but each seemed to be a play for big yardage and or keeping a drive going so those had a big impact. O was generally good yesterday. The D is another matter. Lack of pass rush and qb contain are a bad combo especially when coupled with generally poor coverage. I was glad to see us get an int. We missed a couple of earlier opportunities for that.

Looks like pretty reasonable comments to me. Love that we won k doubt, but the FSU offense did about as much to stop themselves as we did to stop them. Nothing wrong with appreciating a win and still acknowledging the issues we had. I really am concerned about the lack of pressure on the QB and have said so for the last several weeks. We let guys stand in the pocket and go through multiple reads until they find a guy running wide open. Our d-line was supposed to be better than that this year and historically has been too.

Yep, perfectly legit comments.
Its a sports board ... thats what we do on sports boards ... talk sports.
Offense looked good the second game in a row. Defense looked good, even better, at times, but FSU did drop a couple at least that would have made it a very close finish. Gotta clean up the busted coverages.

Yep. Fsu could have easily been in lead at half if they had caught wide open passes that him them in hands

I don't have an issue with getting #### on, but at least make it interesting you know. The "you fans need to jump in the portal" has been used a million times. 0 points for creativity

FSU has enough pretty good players to be a good team.
Their coaches are not good.
This equals a team that is not good.

Hate to say the announcers were right. Casstelonos can be lights out but if a couple things go wrong, he gets flustered and gets down. I'd say Norvell has a 2 year record of not getting the correct qb. I think they'll move on.

6 Sacks,, held one of the best rushing offenses in the country to 110 yards. Held them to 10 points. Drops are part of the game we certainly have had our share. I believe I read they are averaging 40 points per game. Their rushing average is 241 per game.
We had pressure on Castellanos all day. I am not sure just what some of you expect? We played a very good game, the first complete game we have played all year.

Even Reggie Merriwether said 51% of the credit for stopping FSU's offense went to FSU's offense. The D looked better, but I think that it is disingenuous to give all of the credit to the Clemson defense.

I stated some facts. I certainly did not mean to snub the offense but hey have been holding up their end for the last 5 games. If our field position had not been so bad for three possessions in the first half I believe we would have scored more.

No one is expecting too much. They simply pointed out coverage busts ... two of which could've been for TDs. FSU made some mistakes. We made a few on coverage, but played overall better that they did.
The fact that we have had our share of drops has nothing to do with this game or their comments.
Good win. Offense played pretty well for second game in a row. Defense looked a lot better, as you point. I thought we did a much better job getting pressure, mixing up blitz packages. Gotta clean up busted coverages that seem to keep happening ... a better team will exploit those. But overall, better energy, better pressure, good run defense, and, apart from a couple blown coverage that FSU didnt capitalize on, actually some improved man coverage by secondary.
