Mike Norvell said the following after the close win at BC:

“It wasn’t a lack of work, it wasn’t a lack of investment but we did lack execution. I think this is something that we’ll learn from as a football team.”

We all know it wasn't a lack of investment.

Jared Verse, Keon Coleman, Jaheim Bell and Co. must have cost a pretty penny.

This close call really wasn't a good thing for us. It has probably refocused them. Also, they will definitely be working on defending the QB run this week in practice. I have a feeling we'd been saving Cade's legs for that game.

They came into the game with the 77th defense in the country. They played like it. Perhaps they just are what they are.

BC had 18 penalties, and still only lost by 2.
