No, we beat us while they had a backup QB. You look at the numbers and we dominated every major category. If you win the Total yards, time of possession, the turnover battle and hold your opponent to 13 rushing yards and still lose, then that's self destruction. And it was yet another game Watson and Stoudt split time til the end.

The 2 plays that killed us were the goal line snap and Our db falling down. We dominated the criminoles but didn't get the W. We are due for a horseshoe to be inserted into our anus at some point like these other teams.

No need to recap it all again, FSU will be sending a Christmas Card for all the gifts they received.

Oregon will drill FSU. I'm glad the 'noles are in the play-off as an undefeated team should be. That said, they've seen nothing like what the Ducks will throw at them. No magic for Winston or FSU this time out...won't be close.

I really hope it's not close. Even though a conference member I am so ashamed of them and their program, and especially ashamed of Jimbo "the Enabler" that I hope they get creamed. So glad not to be an fsu fan.

We controlled and dominated the game ...

in every phase but the scoreboard the one that counts! What kills me is we got no credit for that performance, just a drop out of the polls! Dumbo said a week after we dominated his all world offense that Boston College was the best defense they had faced!
Idiot, your team just got smacked in the mouth and you escape because of our dumb mistakes, the fumble, the snap at the goal, missed field goal and we hold you to 13 yards and all you have to say is Boston College was the best defense! Between that and the Jameis debacle You have no credibility, absolutely none, go Ducks!!!

I expect that we win next year in Death Valley . No Winston , no top WR and their defense will have to replace almost as many as we will.

Clemson beat Clemson - here are the plays
Dec 8, 2014, 9:58 AM
|
|
1) We missed a field goal early. 2) on the 1 yard, our center throws it over Watson to the 20 yard or so. 3) Our kicker misses the second field goal. 4) Our DB Alexander shutdown their top WR but stumbles untouched on that bomb for 70+ touchdown. 5) We intercept and down to the 15 of FSU or so with a minute left. With two missed field goals, we chose to keep running it to score a touchdown instead of running the clock and hitting a 35+ field goal with seconds lefts. Instead, Wayne gets stripped (their credit) and we go overtime.
Also to their credit while our kicker is missing around 40 or less yards, their kicker hits a 50 yarder.
The eye candy test, we have controlled that team and we should have won it. We were the better team and if you take that long touchdown when Alexander stumbled, their total yards are low 200s.
I believe in football being good is not enough. You have to have luck and they did for sure in our game. Also, they did for sure in the ND game and hence they are in the final four and we are not.

It is the play that Dabo stated as to one of the reasons for giving DW the position for the entire game.

Missed field goals just mean our kicker wasn't very good that night- missed FG's aren't some kind of fluke mistake. And the fumble was a good play by their defender (their defender at stripping than our RB is at holding onto the ball). And the defender falling down on the long pass, that's just a lack of footwork. The snap over the head was "Clemson beating Clemson" but the rest of those are either FSU being better than us, or us not being very good in that area (that night).

No way science supports all of those things happening to a team on the same night. Magic.

2 critical TO's in red zone with game on line. Also, we started a true freshman QB for the first time. Them playing hte backup wasn't that impressive to me, nor has Winston impressive been all year.

And the fact that we nearly beat their defense with Stoudt playing a lot speaks volumes.
The Ducks must be quacking with joy. They are gonna eat the Noles alive.
