Improve any team’s roster.

They’ve got a great confident QB and other key additions.

Alabama always has talent but they aren’t number 8.

It’s high risk high reward. If you can get the right combination and they gel well together, then it can be good. Probably not consistent, as FSU has shown, but can be good with the right combo

They were 2-10 last year with one of the biggest portal classes in the country. It’s, at best, at crapshoot and this is only game 1.

If your 2-10 a lot of the transfer players can make a huge improvement. If your 10-2 very few transfers can help in improving team.

It can also be a disaster, just see FSU LAST year.

I much prefer Dabo's approach rather than the ups and down of rampant portal use. Augment only where your own recruiting and retention left holes. DON'T make it your primary recruiting focus.
