From my FB page...Flame away, haters!

OK, I've had enough! I am shocked and appalled at some of the things I am seeing on college football websites. Alabama "fans" are sending death threats to their kicker for his performance against Auburn on Saturday. And sadly, some Clemson "fans" are posting terrible, hurtful messages about Tajh Boyd because he didn't play well against South Carolina. These people sound like little children. They throw tantrums and make threats because some things happened that they didn't like. What's next? Are they going to hold their breath until they pass out? Are they going to go crying to Mommy? Do these Bama "fans" really think their kicker intentionally missed field goals to assure a Tide loss? Do these Tiger "faithful" really believe that Tajh Boyd turned the ball over three times on purpose? That he wanted to help SC win the game? Nobody likes for his/her team to lose a game---especially a rivalry game. But comments like "Good riddance, Tajh" and "Glad to see you go, loser" are just stupid and pointless. These folks need to grow up! Alabama's kicker and Clemson's QB both fell short on Saturday. I'm sure no one is more disappointed in that than these two young men are. The truth is, they have both worked long and hard to help their respective teams achieve national acclaim and notoriety. Neither has done anything to embarrass his university off the field. They are both good young men who have made significant contributions to their respective schools. These disgruntled "fans" need to move on...and they need to recognize that these are guys just trying to do their best. Respect what they've accomplished, get behind them, their teammates, their coaches and their universities as they go on to their bowl games. And if a "fan" finds himself unable to do that, choose another team to "support". Good luck finding one that is perfect, never loses a game and will do everything exactly the way you want it done!

passionate about their teams and a 5 game losing streak to your rival can bring out the worst in some people. I think that those people are doing the same thing they accuse others of......succoming to pressure. I don't loke it one bit, but I do have some class and dignity.
