This is a text I received from my Cousin that just retired from teaching AP History in Athens , GA

“ Hey Tigers! Jefferson High School senior, Sammy Brown, just won the #### Butkus award as the top linebacker in the United States today. Butkus’ son was at school to give him the award. Sammy was one of my AP US History students last year. He is a fine young man as well as an outstanding athlete. I am sure you already know that he is coming to Clemson. I understand that you guys have two starting linebackers heading for the draft so I wouldn’t be surprised to see Sammy get a good it is playing time next year.
By the way, he also played running back quite a bit on offense. I don’t know if Dabo will use him on offense but he is very familiar with toting the rock.
Can’t wait to see how Sammy does in Clemson orange!

Thanks for your post! Sammy is an amazing athlete and person. He will thrive in the Clemson environment. Hope he can make a contribution next year and beyond.

Glad to see that Ap American history is hard. I'm doing alright 85 right now but like a A on a report card so not to worried. I know many pepole doing much worse
