When Clemson had # 1 LB recruting class with Stephone Anthony and Lateek Townsend out of HS few yrs ago. Now to have this potential Offensive line recruiting class wow!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully this leads to future top 5 star RB's commiting so when current RB's leave we will be very deep at RB.

Most "prognosticators" have him going to VT or UT. I think he's an OSU lean bc of his past comments. But who knows.
"Lexington (Va.) Rockbridge County offensive lineman Austin Clark plans to release his Top 7 this week, most likely on Thursday, and the Buckeyes will make the cut.
"Ohio State will be on that list," Clark said.
The 6-foot-6 and 280-pound Clark has 16 scholarship offers. His list includes Ohio State, Virginia Tech, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Penn State, Duke and Maryland. Clark is a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports rankings. He is the country's No. 151 prospect, the No. 16 offensive tackle, and the No. 8 prospect in Virginia."

I didn't see anything that convinced me SEC bound, but all of the Clemson talk was just b/c it was written by Nikki for Tigernet.

He seems too smart for them in his comments. His only remark about them was their conference affiliation, I believe, and that alone shouldn't be the reason a kid commits, but time will tell.

It appears it's between us, Auburn, and Tennessee. He's picked up some other offers such as OSU, Bama, and Michigan St. Most services have him as a 3 star guy but I think he made ESPN's top 300. He would be a great pick up for sure.

I saw almost every block resulting in his man being put on the ground. I do not remember a single pass protection block, however. That is interesting and a bit of a concern, because we do throw it, and pass blocking is critical to our success. I believe, from what I saw, he could do it, but it is different from run blocking. I would love for him to join our team, because I see much potential.

Guy that sizes. All he have to do on pass protection is just get in the way for a few seconds and Watson will do the rest.

I see if this kid comes to Clemson, it will be our best O line ever that I can remember of my 53 years of being a Tiger. We have had some good offenses, but none with as many high quality O linemen he would help add. I see a crystal FB in our trophy case for sure with a talented O line and Watson putting the ball in hands all over the field....

The OL has been our weakest link for a long time. Last year I saw some pretty good improvement, but IMO, we have not focused on the OL as much as we have the skill guys, and that has prevented us from being as successful as we might have been. It also hindered some of our skill guys from reaching their potential, as well. I like our emphasis on the Big Uglies. I think that has been one huge reason at our lack of success lately vs. usuc. Get that fixed, and we will be very special indeed.

Strangly that "calligraphy" on the coot-a-buses seemed quite Clowney-esque!!!
It even looked like they started to make a spelling mistake & someone corrected it before it got worse...
Maybe he's mad at Spurturd or the coots because the couldn't win anything other than a middle tier bowl game & no conference championships or anything big with all his talent! Lol.
Well, they beat us but all that changes this year, imo

that whenever recruits talk about scar, they say something like, "they are in the SEC" or "I think it would be great to play in the SEC".
Scar never has and never will stand alone as a great place to play football on their own.
