Not great starts for any of our tigers. I'm not sure what Kyle Stanley majored in, but I am thinking he probably needs to think about brushing up on it. I see no signs that he is going to turn his golf career around. I sure hope he does, but I just don't see any indication.

I don't either TL. He took the extended time off for their baby and hasn't played well since. Not sure if he's even made a cut since coming back.

Our other Kyle was up to -3 b4 the dB. But at least he came back with a birdie. Hopefully the cut sticks at -2 but I'm not holding my breath.

Have yourself a day Carson. Sitting pretty. How far away from the seniors is JB? I think he'd do well once he commits to it.

Jacob. I threw my phone when he didn't birdie 16... then bogeys 17. Looking good with the birdie on 18. Don't see it going to +5 for the cut... which is all I wanted for him this week. Lucas can make some noise. Then hopefully both will find magic over the weekend.

Isn't the FedEx points higher for an invitational? I know it is for the winner. Ok, baseball time. Gosh I was crushed when the ladies didn't win last night.

Speaking of ladies, wtg Annabelle. Made the cut and has a chance with a nice weekend.

Clemgalalways®, the points are definitely higher for the signature events. I couldn't find a page on the main PGA Tour site that is dedicated to this, but I did find a chart on page 88 of this PDF.

Good deal!!! I'm saving this. A top 20 finish or better really starts a significant difference. Just one good weekend round and one average round could be the equivalent of a top 15 finish in a regular event.

I understand we're all trying to hoist the trophy but I would imagine their team definitely keeps up with their points standings. Saying, I would assume getting to 500+ points would relax you some because by the math, you realize your card is punched for another year. Getting to 700+ gets you in the top 70, compete in the big events to give you a chance to making the majors.

Thanks again!!! Bryson and Kyle Cottam are off to a good start. Proud of Kyle, I believe this is his first kft made cut. Carson can separate with another stellar round today. Either way, sure is fun to follow. Great things for ALL our Tigers.

Had looked back on any stats for him a few weeks back and found very little. Had thought he had walked away from the game. Glad to see he is still playing but obviously wishing his results were better.

Lucas ended his day at +3 while Jacob closed at +4. Cut was +5. Thursday was a rough day for many of the guys who made the cut. 22 of the 51 scored 3 over or more. Assume the wind was heavy as it was here in NC.

Yes, Lucas put on the press when he needed it most. There for a while, he was the catalyst moving the cut from 5 to 4. Glad it ended at 4. Now max players are 52. A couple of "good " but not necessarily great rounds and Lucas and Jacob will have good finishes and probably some tv time.
