with the ACC. The SC judge's decisions Friday creates an untenable quagmire for the league IMO. Multiple suits in multiple states with competing views and narratives is very bad for business overall. It will appear more and more as an acrimonious hostage situation to too many interested parties, which will begin forcing hands. Were UNC to publicly side with us and FSU here, and the timing and opportunity for this seem at hand now with the opening we just provided - it's game over.
Our ACC brethren had a chance to step up and do the right thing - amend distributions to protect the geese laying the golden eggs. They failed to do so under the belief that nothing but nothing could change the current arrangement, which ACC leadership sold them on. What happens next is on them, and deservedly so.

But UNC would be a game changer if they throw their hat in, without that I think the ACC will play long ball. Losing public sentiment means nothing to them as long as they keep getting money.

I believe they will begin to understand what's at stake and member institutions will start questioning whether the ironclad messaging from home office is all that iron, or clad. That's the basis of our suit.
FSU has a touch of fraudulent inducement behind theirs in questioning Swofford and ACC back-dealing around that time. Part of our argument Friday included inducement tactics for the GOR at question. We didn't go full flame like FSU has on motives, but we're asking for insight on that and pulling back the scab.
