I still like the crackdown. Those protesters suck.

Are you not a fan of The Constitution?

Take the Navy vet who was attacked by these thugs as an example. Why do yo think he should not be allowed to protest and beaten for it, breaking his hand?

They all should be able to protest. What exactly are their goals and what are they protesting though? I enjoy watching those idiots get crushed nonetheless. That dude's military experience is meaningless to me. Might as well say former 7-11 worker. He is just some dude.

IMHO legit protestors should get off the streets ...

Jul 21, 2020, 2:09 PM [ in reply to Re: Fox's Napolitano on the Portland mess ]

a few hours after sundown and don’t provide cover for the criminal element who commingle with protestors. Local LE should do their job _ made all the more difficult by the above. Looting and property destruction are criminal. Peaceful protest is a constitutional right. The mixture is a mess.

The video of them beating the Navy vet and breaking his hand

and pepper spraying him unprovoked is pretty scary stuff.

Shocking that Constitutionally protected protesters are indiscriminately attacked by unidentified thugs in combat gear under the orders of our president. States rights seems to only be a cry of the right when they want to deny someone equal protection under the law.

Good grief. He didn't even budge when he was hit.

Is he the toughest man on the planet or were those love taps? I know he said it broke his hand but he literally doesn't react even in the slightest bit until the pepper spray.

What exactly is happening? It sounds like federal

Jul 21, 2020, 11:45 AM

agents (from what agency) are driving around in unmarked cars and grabbing innocent protesters and throwing them in their cars or beating them up. Is that right? And if they are putting them in the cars, where are they taking them? Never to be heard from again? Are these beatings just happening randomly on the streets?

Gaaah. Why won't you all do research for me!?!

Jul 21, 2020, 9:34 PM

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2020/07/17/reports-federal-officers-detain-portland-protesters-unmarked-vans/5457471002/

So this article speaks to one incident of "picking up a protester" and it says that CBP officers with insignias on their shirts picked up a guy in connection to an investigation and relocated him for questioning because of a violent mob, and then released him. I am not sure why the unmarked vehicles is even an issue - cops use unmarked vehicles all the time. And in this environment, I think they'd be morons not to - unmarked vehicles will allow them to move about more freely without being targeted by rioters.

Perhaps someone can explain how Pelosi can use the term "Storm Troopers" here?

Ridiculous. Perhaps these tactics are non-ideal but we are operating in a non-ideal environment and someone has to maintain some level of order. Lord knows the local government has no interest in doing so.
