The fact that he says I will have 50 mil in 3 years shows you the problem with recruiting. He is one kid that needs a wake up call.

Every sec media outlet (or 98% of all media) absolutely hates that he chose Clemson and early. Most kids don't want to play for top 10 teams contending for titles and dumping DLs into the NFL so their vitriol is quite founded.

Get real. Recruiting someone of this calliber is not easy, if our coaches gave up like you, we would be less competitive than the Citadel.

An R after your name will stop all coot b/s by ignoring ever coot you come across being negative toward Clemson or any Tiger fan. My ignore page is absolutely over flowing with nothing but coots. I don't ignore Tigers b/c this is a Tiger board and I feel that as a true Tiger, I have an obligation to listen to what they have to say or feel about what I have to say. And I can except there opinions and actions by the way of the TD, if that's the way they feel about what I've said. And I don't care nothing about the way fans of other schools think about us. Neither do I give a crap about what other fans or coots has to say or feel about anything I do or say. Because they don't count, PERIOD... So just pay the small amount of $29.99 for a full year to help get rid of any fan of other schools that does nothing but talk crap about Clemson. If all Tigers would donate and ignore all coots and others that doesn't have anything positive to add. They would be left to talking to and TD-ing each other. And us Tigers will be on track with taking Clemson sports on our Tiger Net board. If Clemson fans want Clemson respected on this board. We have to do more than just complain about it. We have to take it back, or lay down and let the coots and other fans have it.

Isn't it a little strange that a mother that chose to live
Sep 6, 2012, 2:21 PM

|
in another country and let her son live with a HS assistant football coach part time and with a HS teammate's family part time and only talks to him weekly by phone would make such strong statements about a college choice her son seems convinced is the right one?
I know she has his best interests at heart, but since she is not even in the country how can she be so quick to judge what exactly are his best interests?
I also wonder when those comments were made? I'm pretty she she attended Dabo's BBQ earlier this summer with RK. I read he was there with his parents and then they went to Ole Miss to see his brother. If she made the comments recently, then I think there is cause for concern.

That or the promise of a big payday for them, as was the case with Hershel Walker @ ugay. That new house got the job done, and yes, I know it for a fact. I ride by it often & I do know the ones who arranged it and paid for it.

She's just upset because she wasn't involved in the decision.
My parents weren't happy when I told them I was transferring to Clemson from a school in Philadelphia. They couldn't be happier with the decision I made.
She will come around. I'll get worried when RN makes a comment that expresses any kind of wavering.

thats how i read it too. the woman just wants to be sure her son makes the right choice and wants to be involved. lots of parents fit that bill. they just happen to have a situation where she cant be really involved and its making her nervous. i am sure yalls staff will reach out to her, get her the relevant info she needs, and calm her fears. as much as i would like to see yall not get the #1 recruit, he seems pretty sold on clemson. more likely he changes her mind than that sge changes his.

Per Wiki...
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, to Nigerian immigrants Beverly and Sunday Nkemdiche. His mother, a politician, returned to Nigeria in 2009 and currently represents Onitsha South in the Anambra State House of Assembly.[4] Robert's older brother Denzel plays defensive back for the Ole Miss Rebels.[5] They originally planned attending college together.[6] However, Robert Nkemdiche committed to Clemson University, on June 14, 2012.[7] Nkemdiche will join some of his teammates at Clemson including RB Wayne Gallman and CB David Kamara.

YET ANOTHER POINTLESS **ESPN** ARTICLE
Sep 6, 2012, 3:42 PM
|
|
Are they sure its his mom??? Seriously, 3 months later you want to come out and say you arent HAPPY with his decision!! I find anything in this article to be useless banter to ramp up the pressure and possibly get him to decommit and sign with an SEC squad...
I, for one, dont really give a @$#% anymore!!! If anyone else would like to join me in the "I WILL CARE ON FEBRUARY 6, 2013"... Just so everyone knows, not a single VERBAL commitment is any kind of binding contract as any of our recruits could change their minds.
Roberts little spill about $50 million in a few years makes me wonder if that almighty dollar might get the better of him...hmmm, I honestly prefer a player who loves to play and love CLEMSON, lets hope Mr. Nkemdiche's mind is in the right place

Probably wouldn't have generated as much traffic/hits though with a different title.

While I think we should avoid trashing a commitment's mom...
Sep 6, 2012, 5:53 PM

I have to say I think she is being extremely immature in her comments. It seems like there are a lot of mothers involved in recruiting who have a difficult time handling the attention. She appears to be blurting out emotional statements that are very misleading instead of discussing any concerns she has with her actual son or with the coaches.
Also, let's not forget that the slimy media is hovering around like vultures, trying their best to create controversy. This is one of the reason's why I think recruiting coverage has reached a grotesque, unhealthy level. Random mommas who have no idea how to handle media attention are being put in our face for us to judge, and its all because we are fans of college football. I wish that wasn't part of college football.

Is her son coming to Clemson to play? Was the collective fanbase slamming her for, I dunno, wasting time on a message board, instead of doing more motherly things that could benefit her son?

article. You didn't have to make the title the most negative and alarming one. Ultimately Robert Nkemdiche will be the one who makes the decision, and he seems pretty set on coming here...And I for one will be glad to have him.

in with little info and think she knows what's best for her son or to think what she wants is what he wants. Way too many of these parents try to control where these kids go to school.
Clemson is the school he likes, it's much closer to home, and he is going to have 3 friends and high school teammates at Clemson with him. Clemson is also a better school and football program than Ole Miss.
It is curious though that he went to Ole Miss this weekend and skipped the Auburn game, which was close to home.

Dear Crump,
Please assume that RN reads all these posts, Please have any posts that refer to a recruit's mother negatively removed.
In this forum, I value Clemson success far far above providing a platform for everyone to vent.
I can think of no better way to lose a recuit than to insult his mother.
