He started laughing hysterically, before I even told him what it was. He seemed to think I was making some racial joke, I dunno. But as I was sitting on the couch sipping sweet tea from a nice 1980's-era plastic Clemson fluted cup with "Hardees" "Bi-lo" and "Naturally Fresh" barely visible somewhere, the worst thing that can happen.......happened. The ice shifted. This sent sweet tea immediately down my chin and onto my shirt, which son of initially laughed at as well. For 4+ decades now I have always thought there should be some type of sniglet for this unfortunate circumstance. Thanks to AI and the internets I have learned there IS A SNIGLET for this.....
Icelanche.
Now, from today onward, I will refer to this unfortunate accident as an "icelanche". Special thank you goes out to Rich Hall. A comedian from the time when comedians were comedians.

It dates back to the early 80's. It's as harmless as water from a water hose.

might still have it buried somewhere in an attic box.
Those were great, me and my brother used them all the time, a couple I know we still do.
Like the plastic thing that hold a six-pack together is a "flannister". And the squeak your sneakers make when on a basketball court or vinyl floor is called "gription". And the "P-spot", the spot on the wall you stare at when you are at the urinal.
There were some doozies I can't recall. I'm sure a bunch more will come to me here thinking about it.

2 beds so of course they couldn't put us in a bed together. Dad and I in bed #1, step mom and sis and bed #2.
Somehow though I ended up sleeping in the floor and stepsis reached down and JMO while they was asleep.

But not really.
