FSU hasn’t won an ACC game in over 320+ days. To me, it’s more surprising that Norvell still has a job than it is that Franklin was fired.

Man, these buyouts are ridiculous. I know the coaches are protecting themselves but that’s just stupid for schools to agree to that. Especially a lopsided one like we agreed to with Dabo, and I’m not a member of the fire Dabo club.

Agreed! I do not see pro football buyouts like college. The coaches and their agents are setting the market and extorting money that will guarantee generational wealth while punishing schools/employers and players for subpar coaching performance! It’s great to get paid like a rockstar and perform like lounge act!

continue. They obviously want to make it more prohibitive for universities to fire them very early in their tenure. The alternative to putting a large buyout in the contract would probably be to pay top coaches 20m/year instead of 10-12m/year.
