Tiger-turned-Gamecock OF Nathan Hall was picked No. 153 overall and in the fifth round of the ongoing MLB draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks Monday afternoon.
Hall was a bright spot in a tough season overall for the Gamecocks, listed as having team bests in batting average (.322), runs scored (36), hits (67), doubles (13) and RBI (38).
He played in 51 games in two years at Clemson with 20 starts, hitting .240 with 15 RBIs over two seasons.
