The Flag over the S. C. Statehouse

Simple solution:
Lower the Battle Flag to half-staff for 90 days to honor and remember those slain by that confessed murderer. It would also convey the exact same sentiments when the Church expressed love and forgiveness after the shootings last week.
After 90 days, remove the Battle Flag and replace with the State Flag.

and the flag moved and the African American memorial was constructed, they went right back to complaining that the flag was still on the grounds.

I like the Yellow in the Don't Tread on Me sign. Provides a better contrast to the copper, and has a much stronger/more accurate historical message in our state.
No sarcasm. If we're really concerned about heritage, why not focus on the good parts of it? Why not focus on South Carolina and its ideology being the literal driving force of American Independence in the early stages of the British invasion/occupation? Seems like a good compromise.

Show me where the Conf Battle flag flies over the statehouse

Puh-Lease do this!!!!
In short it doesnt fly on the statehouse. It flies on the statehouse grounds and is located at the memorial for all the SC citizens that fought and died representing the state in the civil war.

But, the memorial was there without the flag for over thirty years. And the memorial will STILL be there without the flag when the flag is removed. Why would you need two memorials for the same thing in the same place? That doesn't even make any sense.
