And this how wars start. In countries run by dictators, when hard times hit

one of two things happens. The dictator blames some enemy and starts a war, OR.....the dictator is assassinated and a new one steps up.

Over last two years when looking at GDP, unemployment, wages, inflation, gas prices, recent rate adjustments etc.

Need to keep the momentum moving in the right direction…

It's interesting. In the UK their version of the BLS has only a 30% response rate, and on that they derive their data. Our BLS is also suffering lower response rates, and budget problems cutting their universe of data below 5,000 surveys.

This provides for dubious accuracy from a statistics point of view. Furthermore, the BLS is an agency of a governemnt $36 trillion in debt, that must pay interest on that debt. So there is a massive conflict of interest there, totally ignored.

As it stands currently, inflation is rising (again) while the fed is lowering rates, and job growth is slowing. It's counterintuitive. Either data is bad, or this is stagflation, or both.

What makes you think this is stagflation?!? The GDP growth...

is pretty good and job growth might be slowing, but it's still growth at a pretty healthy rate. And dang, inflation increased a bit to 2.7% in November, but that's an awfully long way away from the kind of high inflation needed to declare anything close to stagflation conditions.

In other words...what are you talking about?

And this bent on the BLS is still silly IMO.

It's only getting worse as far as BLS numbers.

There's too much of it now due to obesity, healthcare, gov't injections of money into the economy, non-profits, etc. Ain't the same as it used to be.

Biden is handing Trump an economy & country that is fully recovered....

from the mess he inherited from Trump in 2021.

Unemployment is low by historic standards. Inflation - which was caused by supply shocks, not by Biden legislation - has calmed down and is at a whopping 2.7% (OMG, we're all gonna die). The spike in violent crime/murder from 2020 has now faded away. Job growth is good. Energy production is at an all-time high. Uninsured rate is very low by historic standards.

The country is basically in good shape in terms of the basic economy. Politically, we're a mess. But that's been the case for decades, and not something that Biden or any Dem could fix in today's climate.

Rhetorical BS... but you'll see soon enough. The 'numbers' are all fudged.***
