Brownell, there is still Clemson Basketball being played. Congratulations Coach Butler and the Lady Tigers!! They have played their way into the third round of the WNIT!! As long as they are winning, those ladies still have a chance to bring the trophy to Tiger Town!!

other than the one girl on Auburn who we let drive all the way to the basket for nearly the whole game, nobody on either team could throw it in the ocean. We finally got a couple of charging calls against that Auburn player VERY late in the game, and were able to squeak out a one point win.
Coach Butler vs Florida, going for her 300th win (If what I saw earlier on here is correct) will be very interesting, indeedy.

She coached and played at Fla so I'm sure she will take it easy on them. Yeah right- she will have the team give it all they've got so the gators get a full dose

Last night's game was one of the best I've seen all year in terms of two teams slugging it out and really wanting the win. Frank Howard might have called it a 120% effort.

I think '#ClemsonGrit' needs to be reserved for women's basketball. They appear to have turned a corner the last half dozen games or so.

imagine that - a clemson basketball coach who inspires, teaches, and coaches.
we could switch coaches (butler/guys, doorknob/ladies), but then we would just feel bad for the lady tigers who would drift away into obscurity and become a laughing stock.

Well, the best of luck to our Lady Tigers !!! In thinking of BB and baseball in general, maybe internal transfers would help both teams. Maybe coach Butler could fill in for “one and done” Brad .. and our great softball pitcher Valerie Cagle could “switch pitch” for our baseball team. Coach Butler would be an upgrade to Brad, and Valerie would be a much welcomed addition to our pitching staff. Brad could stay on to keep JK and pumpers happy, except not in any type of coaching roll ..maybe pom poming in the far distance.

when Girls' lacrosse teams start chop blocking, clothes-lining, and face masking;
when Coaches of said Girls' teams start spitting tobacco, running beet-red between the lines with arms flailing and chests inflamed, kicking dirt on umpires' shoes and clothes, and pulling up goal posts or bases and throwing them into the stands,
then I'll start to give a ####.
