Who would you want to hire other than someone who has been behind National champion award winning coordinators? While our offense has struggled our offensive play calling was restricted due to the lack talent/ productivity. Quit kidding yourselves! It’s about Jimmy and Joe’s. Alabama keeps winning because they have NFL talent on their team year in and year out. That is how all of their Coordinators appear successful even after attrition!

So again I ask who do you prefer over Dabo’s choices? Old warn out coaches with bad character? Doesn’t fit culture? Who?

Dabo strategically put these guys in place to observe, shadow, learn , analyze and eventually replace the guys with who he was successful with.

Offense struggled??? One year. Other than that the offense was record setting!!! Come on man!

I think what people are missing is that Coach Swinney brings people in at a lower coaching level and promotes the ones that have real promise. When you think about it why hire at a high coaching level when you can develop high level people you know will work. To me it is what makes Coach so fantastic. He doesn't just hire people that others think could be good. He sees it for himself inside his own program.

But, he will hire someone from the outside if necessary.....Chad Morris, Brent Venables, Mickey Conn, Kyle Richardson, etc. He wants the best. Inside, outside, makes no difference.

I think after the whole Kevin Steele firing Dabo just filled the roster with future coaching talent. He hired outside early in his career now he just fills the team with future head coaches.
