Can someone explain how he won the Nagurski (best defensive player) award?
He’s not even the best DE in the state. TJ Parker’s stats are way better than his.
**not saying Kennard isn’t good because he is but come on ….

so he had the name recognition entering the season plus he's a Sr and led the SEC in sacks and tfl, projected 2nd round...Parker I believe has the same number of sacks or maybe a half sack less and might have a higher ceiling than Kennard—

The guy had a lot of force fumbles at crucial times, so if I take my orange colored glasses off I can see why he got it.
