I was 16 and is still the single most devastating moment in sport for me. People who have only seen the replay forget how absolutely hapless we looked in the first half and things only looked worse to start the second. UConn led by 19 with 12 minutes to go. One of the most furious comebacks I’ve seen only it’s never remembered because we lost.

I don’t remember being pissed at the ref about George’s shot.
I remember being the Keys on Spring Break being a bit buzzed and incredibly sad.

I was listening to the Tate George game and shot on a transistor radio in the middle of Edisto swampland. Couldn't really pick up on the nuances at the time.

Too many to number. George’s was up there. But I wasn’t mad at refs I was trying to figure out why didn’t we put Campbell or Davis or anybody on the inbound passer. Otherwise, they run together. Dozens of them.

Hard to take 2-3 dribbles then turn around and get a shot off in a second is what I remember.
