To solve the Jim Boeheim (the Syracuse basketball coach to some who apparently don't know - 903 wins) problem of knowing where to eat in Providence, R.I. but ignorance of places to eat when playing Clemson, I've got a suggestion.
Clemson fans can send us their favorite places and Syracuse fans will reciprocate by sending ours. I'll start. When in Syracuse, try the Dinosaur BBQ.

For BBQ in Clemson area; I recommend "Just more BBQ"

You mean smoking pig.

About 10 minutes out near liberty there is a place called Circle M BBQ. In my opinion it is the best around. The hickory smoked chicken is killer.

Agree that Circle M is the place to go for barbeque*******

there aren't a ton of great restaurants in Clemson

But, as far as I know, they don't have a Denny's. Coach Boeheim, and visiting fans who don't mind spending a few dollars, should try either The Blue Heron, Calhoun Corners, or Pixie and Bill's. For the fan just looking for a good time, make sure you go to Tiger Town Tavern, 356, and Todaro's Pizza. Unfortunately, a few of the great old local places in Clemson have been taken over by chains, but there are still some good places to go.
