Got my renewal email yesterday. Wow. Season tix are $500. We have had 8 tix for 40 years in lower deck. Used to park in Lot 5 for 35 years until last year and moved to McFadden 1 spot 6. This year to keep that spot, got to have 500 points or bump up to $5000 IPTAY. I believe they have just priced me out. Been IPTAY member since 1971. So sad.

If there is one thing i know its that IPTAY cares not about you or loyalty.
I buy season tickets for quite a few sports and the price tag makes me wonder if i should be spending it on something else. Each time it goes up i consider dropping the tickets.
Especially since when you resale the tickets (if you cant make it for some reason) you usually take a loss. Not maybe a loss on face value but when you consider all the dues and other fees.
Then you see all this money on facilities and that parking lot behind the stadium. Money is better spent on NIL. Recruits do not care about facilities anymore.

Our entire AD is messed up.
They do this IPTAY seat equity increase and season ticket increase at the same time and in such a poor year for athletics at CU in general. We just lost to the Coots for no reason other than Dabo’s undying loyalty to DJ.
Oh yeah and inflation is its highest level in 50 years and the Fed is trying to wreck the economy to stop it.
I think a lot of folks will be making similar decisions to opt out and not renew.
They’ll likely end up with less money because of the #### poor timing of making these changes.

Yep…gotta pay to play (handsomely).
Being honest here….last year’s game day experience was weird….band vs scoreboard, stagnant offense, and REALLY long commercial breaks kind of dampened my zeal just a bit. Throw an increase on top of it, and I’m not yet about to give up my seats, but the thought did creep into my mind..
Go Tigers!

The final straw was taking the seats I’ve had that whole time for the new west zone club and relocating me behind the visiting band’s tubas where I can’t even see the scoreboard, let alone the field. Don’t ask me for loyalty when none is given to me. It’s all about the money. I’m not bitter / just a realist. I’ll spend a lot less to buy the games I want, grab a beer from the fridge when it’s 90 degrees and put the $ elsewhere.

keep our season tickets. We decided to keep them, but just buying them individually is starting to be a much better option...

The best years at Clemson are as a student ... especially if you were fortunate to have Dad & Mom paying the bills. The funding responsibility for certain levels of boostership and tickets now requires multi-millionaire status.

For several years I had company match for my IPTAY, but like all good things that went away about six years ago. So I moved from the lower deck to the upper. I got a nice call from the ticket office that year telling me that if I would just give $1500 more I could stay in the lower deck.

Where are your seats?

I’d drop down to $3,500 level for parking then buy your seats assuming it’s 8 tickets for $7,500 including parking and lower bowl sidelines.

Triplep, I'm right there with you. Been IPTAY since the mid 90s but it's just too expensive now. Hope someone who can afford it enjoys my seats.
