How much does Dan Rad's position help us?

Does he pass on extra "recon" to committee members due to knowledge of Clemson so far? Details such as... 1. Injuries and absences of key offensive 1st team players. 2. Increasing strength of defense 3. Nearness of win over FSU (countless miscues and still OT) 4. Time frame of transition to DW as Starter and impact on 1st game vs. UGA
Where do YOU think Clemson will be ranked by this Committee? At this point, I'd have Clemson at #18 (passing the following three teams ranked ahead of us in current USA Poll teams: Oklahoma, ECU, and Utah).

Perhaps it's 'understood,' that Drad will take up the slack

problem is that no one knows what they're allowed to divulge or what they use to decide. If someone simply looks at our scores last couple weeks without knowing we have significant injuries then we're screwed. This would lead to the need to blow people out in the future no matter what. I say Clemson ends up around 18 or 19

DRad has to leave the room when any discussion centers on Clemson.

I understand that. I just wonder if the members can spread

their personal research for others to see. They should research all of the top 30 teams, but DRad would have far more research on Clemson to pass out due to his connection (just let Tim B give him the file)
If I were on the committee, I would ask all AD/SID's from all two or less loss teams from 5 major conferences to put a one page file on their team together for committee members. I would also ask them to provide a one page that could oppose opponents as they desire.
In other words, they can pitch for themselves and against their competitors. Good info. would come from that for sure.

DAN RADAKOVICH Director Of Athletics, Clemson University One of 10 athletics directors serving on 2013 NCAA advisory commission to make recommendations on future rules and policies.
I would say that helps

3. Nearness of win over FSU (countless miscues and still OT)
Should read- Lost to FSU with their Heisman Trophy winning Quarterback on the bench who was suspended just the night before.
This is football-not horseshoes. Close doesn't count.

I understand that for Clemson to get a playoff mention, FSU will have to lose 2 Conference games, we get DW back and finish strong and the rest of the nations drops 2 to 3 games across the board.

Master's Tournament. She was very nice and just smiled and said she didn't think she could help! I did ask her about going to an eight team playoff and she just stated the party line that she thinks they have it right with four.
