That team made it to #2 in the country if I recall. Buck. Boogie, Big O, Woni, Wideman, Jurkunas. Camping for those Wake tickets was a cold weekend.

That was the high point of Clemson basketball. 16-1 start!

Rose to #2 in nation. Lost a heart- breaker to Tim Duncan and Wake to cool us down, but still a great team and a great season.

The 1996-97 team is the only 5-0 start in ACC play that I've found.
The 1986-87 team went 4-0.
Didn't hear what he said, but is it possible he meant only the fifth all-time five-game winning streak in league play? I'd totally believe that.
