Finally a championship for the peeps...

We're so fortunate to have a “rival” with a completely ridiculous mascot, always ripe for a quick meme or "Spurs Up" joke. But I started thinking if there were perhaps other mascots that were equally as pathetic and laughable. So I whittled down a list of worthy contenders.
First, I eliminated unusual but utterly un- threatening mascots like the Hobart Statesmen, Presidents, Diplomats, Gentlemen, Profs, Poets, Bishops, Missionaries and the Austin Peay Governors.
Second went odd animals like the Colby White Mules, Boll-Weevils, Frogs, Anteaters, Sagehens, Platypi, Llamas, Geoducks (apparently it's a clam), Trolls and yes even the Bryant & Stratton Lemmings. Who names their team the Lemmings?
Next go the truly bizarre like the Bethany Terrible Swedes (you call your own team terrible?), the Cobbers, Skylights, Ichabods, Gaiters, the St. Louis College of Pharmacy Eutectics (I had to look it up), the Ottowa GG's (for Good Game no rematch?) and the just too cute Columbia Koalas and Central Arkansas Sugar Bears.
Leaving only the Best of the Best...

My daughter (the artist) graduated from #3, RISD. No football but they did have an ice hockey team - "Go Nads".

Congrats with your daughter's accomplishment. I first became aware of RISD many moons ago when I was reading an article about one of my favorite groups Talking Heads. Found out several attended and a couple graduated from there and that the song Psycho Killer was penned while they were students.
From there it didn't take long to learn about Balls /Nads and Scrotie

Man idk which is worse. My daughter walking around with "Go Nada" or "Go C0cks" on her beewbs to be honest.
