It's a laughable gimmick if the team is losing
..... and it makes no difference to the outcome of the game.

I'm hardly objective, but I have to disagree. The chain has lit a fire under our defense all season. It fires up the crowd, and has really brought the defense together. When the chain comes out, it's electric - and demoralizing for opponents. I think the effects are probably marginal, but they can't be discounted.

The turnover chain has been used as a motivational tool to light a fire in the Miami defense. Anyone who does not think it has worked, has not been paying attention. Those kids have been playing like they were possessed to get that chain around their necks.
