9 Feet landed on my shoulder and back, but the floor and ladder cushioned the fall! LOL! Attic looks untouched, my right arm and shoulder looks like a 20 year old Tyson clocked me good!

his left arm out to break his fall....WHen he rolled over the back of his palm was touching the back of his elbow......This year, I am now 67, and I will pay someone to get leaves off my roof if my new leaf guards don't work,LOL!!!

didn't it sound off the siren 15 seconds earlier....like when Ole Spud had a rope stretched taught around a huge trailer hitch that snapped off and nearly broke my left leg when it snapped....I promise you I will never make THAT mistake again....the roof though, well, I have learned from other people's mishaps on that. Being in the real estate business I have sent sheetrockers to several clients houses for repairs. It is pretty common...

That happened to me once, really. I was lucky as I straddled the 2x10 ceiling joist vs a 20' drop when I broke through the sheetrock.
Lucky...yes...pain (and unhappy wife) for a month...NO! Get well.
